The Morning After - Tuesday - November 10, 2009

First of all, let me apologize for getting this "morning after" out so late. It's that time of the year again. I just got back from Fred Meyer after doing some last minute Thanksgiving Day shopping and what a zoo! Wait a minute... let me take back that last minute phrase as I'm certain I'll have to go back to the store because there is something that I've forgotten.

But back to my post.... on Tuesday, November 10th, we were invited to Aubrey's house to finish work on old projects, new projects, etc. It was a chilly evening that night, so the stew and cornbread that Aubrey had waiting for us was a welcome site! It was delicious. I had seconds! Dale and I thank you! It was also nice to meet your husband, Dave, and your "kids" too. You have a wonderful home. :)

It was a nice evening. Aubrey was stripping quietly in the corner. LOL... she was working on her locker hooking rug project... she had a lot of fabric to tear! We had a lot of fun with the stripping and hooking phrases that night. Dale worked on some aprons and helped me finish mine.... finally! Dale had graciously agreed one night to come over to my house and help me work on my granddaughter's apron and now mine is complete too. I went shopping today and found the cutest little rolling pin. It will go perfect with the apron. Thank you so much Dale for all the help. You know how much help I need.

Here are pictures of the finished Grandma ...Granddaughter aprons:

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday. I'll be cooking as usual, although I am buying a little more this year than before as not to stress out completely.

Until next time...happy sewing,

Vickie. :)
